Word: Identity In Christ

✓ Who are you? Child of God.

✓ The preacher said something that really hit me and it's "Don't just date Jesus, but marry Him!"
Because when you date someone, you make time for the person sometimes and maybe met up a few times a week but it's different when you marry someone.

✓ "You don't have to do what everyone else is doing" You can't serve the world and God at the same time. It's like one foot is in the kingdom of God while the other is in darkness.

✓"If it's worth dying for, it's worth living for"

✓ BE BOLD FOR JESUS.

Exodus

The games were in line with the book of Exodus as we were supposed to walk (ok, not desert but) around with all our backpacks,sleeping bag,shoe bag,etc. And during the games, it was really hot and really rainy. We also got lost (WILDERNESS) while getting to the next stations so it's actually similar to the generation who walked in the desert for 40 years cuz we went round and round.
But it was really fun and meaningful ☺

Word: The Call of disciple

✓ Mark 1: 14-17 After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God. "The time has come," he said. "The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news!" As Jesus walked beside the sea of Galilee, he saw simon and his brother Andrew casting a net into the lake, for they were fisherman. "Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and i will make you fishers of men."

-We follow Him, not He follow us

✓Mark 3:13-15 Jesus went up on a mountainside and called to him those he wanted, and they came to him. He appointed twelve-designating them apostles-that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach and have the authority to drive out demons.

-Call to walk in signs and wonders

✓Mark 8: 1-8 During those days another large crowd gathered. Since they had nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciple to him and said "I have compassion for these people; they have already been with me three days and have nthing to eat. If iend them home hungry, they will collapse on the way, because some of them have come a long distance." His disciple answered,"But where in this remote place can anyone get enough bread to feed them?" "Ho many loaves do you have?" Jesus asked. "Seven," they replied. He told the crowd to sit down on the ground. When he had taken the seven loaves and given thanks, he broke them and gave them to his disciples to set before the people, and they didso. They had a few small fishes as well; he gave thanks for them also and told the disciples to distribute them. The people ate and were satisfied. Afterward the disciples picked up seven basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.

-Jesus did not need to use food from the people but He asked, "What do you have?" and used it to multiply for the thousands. In the same way, He wants us to give what we have. Like tides/offering, and He would use it for the furthance of His kingdom.

✓Mark 10: 42-45 Jesus called them together and said," You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to beome great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be a slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

Devotion: Step up in Love
Ephesians 5: 1-7 Follow God's example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragant offering and sacrifice to God. But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people. Now should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather out of thanksgiving. For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person- such a person is an idolater-has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient. Therefore do not be partners with them.

Treasure Hunt
It's my first time hearing about it and doing it but it's really cool.
Basically, God would speak to us through images etc. and from it, we would know some qualities of our treasure.
For this activity, we have to go the our destinated place and find our treasure and then pray a blessing prayer for them.
So when we tried out among ourselves, i was paired with this girl and it was amazing.
Though we didn't get each other's house location right, I found out that she's staying at Compass Heights too!!
Slowly, we started getting each other's answers to the question right yay!

One of the question was "What's my memorable (i think) childhood memory?"
And she said : SWING.
TOTALLY SPOT ON, TOTALLY.

Another one was "Something about her"
And i saw her and another woman, and the word "LOVE".
I told her and asked her what it meant.
She said that she didn't really like her grandma so the woman is her grandma and God is telling her to love her grandma.
It's really God speaking to me cuz i dont even know her but i could say something like this about her #PraiseTheLord

During the actual Treasure Hunt, i didn't find my treasure but oh well it's okay! ☺
After it was over, we heard other people's testimonies and it's like WOW.

Promise Land was actually the church and it's really better cuz there's aircon, carpetted floor to sleep on and the food is sooooo much btr!
Normally, the meals were just rice and dishes like veggie and egg.
But in the promise land, we had buffet + BBQ + choco fondue!
& normally the supper was milo and biscuit.
But but but in promise land, we had instant noodles!!

Encounter really touched me cuz it was so so so relevant and encouraging.
This song, "Nothing is impossible" was so powerful, go hear it if you haven't heard of it! ;)
For this, it's really too much emotions and too little words.
So i don't really have the words to talk about it ☺
And i really wanna rmb this forever.

Sleep zzz
Slept at 12plus on the first day and woke up at 6plus
Slept at 2plus on the second day and woke up at 7plus
So i was super tired hahaha i really love the camp ♥

Devotion: Step up in Light
Ephesians 5: 8-14 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, rightness and truth)
and find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness but rather expose them. It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. But everything exposed by the light becomes visible - and everything that is illuminated becomes a light. This is why it said: "Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you"

Word: A walk to remember

✓ God can use anybody to achieve his plan but it's those who step up to it that gets blessed.

✓God can and will equip you if you are WILLING

✓God will unveil his marvelous plan in his time

✓Step up as children of God and make a commitment to shine for God in the community

✓The promise land is the start line and not the finish
