Bong Identity

Met shao hui & shao en at serangoon mrt.

Lunched at plaza sing then walked to church for camp! :-)

Chose our bunks then went upstairs for worship.

While waiting , since the band was still having practice...

After worship, it was the groupings & ice breakers!

My group name: 我不知道

Hahaha we think we cool. BUT WE ARE ;-)

After that was gamessss.

The objective was to let us know more about our roots :-)

And somehow all the games have link to it.

So my group's first game was something like throwing pingpong balls into the container which have our mentor's names written & diff mentor has diff points.

I scored two yay! Hahaha

The second game was to write with markers, just that we have to hold the marker with the strings attached to it and draw whatever we are asked.

The third game was quite cool. We had to eat diff food within a time frame.

So we ate tom yam on bread, watermelon, prunes (NOT NICE LOL) & lasagna.

The fourth game was basically watching a video (about bb boys "dancing") and then we have to do it ourselves.

My group was sooooo fail lol!

The last game was broken telephone and we kind of got all the messages hahaha

After games, batheee.

But me , shao hui & shao en didnt.

We didn't perspire, we bathe before coming and it's camp so we didn't! Hahaha

So shao en slept.

& she so funny (AND SCARY)

She sleep halfway, turn + lift her leg up

ME & SHAO HUI KEPT LAUGHING HAHAHAHA

After that was dinner and it was not so nice lol

Had worship & talk next :-)

Then it was supper & light's out.

Was supposed to be sleeping @ 11.30 PM

But me & shao hui talked till 1+PM :-)

Woke up @ 7AM & went to bathe.

Then it was breakfast + devotion.

& worship in the fellowship hall.

I know this sounds funny but i had a fuzzy wuzzy feeling during worship.

(I dont really know how to say it but..)

All of us were sitted on the floor, there was only the guitar, the worship leader&backup singers.

And it struck me that even though our church might be very different from other churches, in our church we are all one family, we all love God & that's all that matters.

I also really felt like i belonged there.

Cause personally, i've been to other churches and i do feel God presence, i grow in Him and all but i just don't feel like i belong.

Honestly, the faith in God in our church might not be as strong but it's just home for me and during the worship, i told myself that this is the church that i wanna go to. No more trying out other churches. This is where i belong. (But if i have nothing on, i would go attend other church services cuz it's good lah huh hahaha)

So, after worship we had amazing race! :-)

First stn: SMU

We were given a carol and we had to change the tune of it and video it.

& we quite cool, we improvised to a mash up of romeo&juliet syle, elmo's lalalala lalalala, smurf's lalalalala, superbass's tune & lady gaga's bad romance.

So after doing the video, we went to where the hint said, one stop away, which was either somerset or city hall.

We thought somerset so we headed there.

& Cuz we were late we ran like crazy.

Then the stn master called us and said it's not somerset -_-

Soooo we went to city hall.

It was another station as well.

We had to answer question & do crossword puzzle & fill in blanks.

Then we headed to Marina Square for the third stn.

But they weren't ready so we had our lunch first @ Macs.

After lunch was the game and for me, it was one of the most fun stn!

We were given a passage that was formed by four different languages and we had to get the translation from the stn master who was at the other end.

So we have to run to him, strike a pose, then look at the paper with translations but we only had 3 seconds to look, then run back and so on.

The fourth station was at orchard and we had to answer the questions on the paper.

On the way to finding our answers, we saw a group of ppl giving free hugs hahaha so cool right!

Anyway the last station we went to was at Suntec and we had to take pictures of at least 5 diff fish species.

After we did it and completed the stn, we rested @ Starbuckssss

& since there was not enough time for the rest of the stns, we walked back to church.

It was generally fun and it's funny how weird our tasks are.

After we reached church, it was bathe time.

& we didnt bathe agn cuz we're gonna cook next so a bit pointless to bathe lol.

So we took polaroidssss.

And when it was time to cook, me & the mafia boss just sat down lol.

No lah cuz i wore slippers for the amazing race and my leg was damn pain hahaha

No lah, i did help cook the fishcake for the nasi lemak & decorate the dish!

Quite pretty right!

Hehehe i like some proud mother.

Anyway every group prepared their dishes.

But thankfully we didn't have to eat it for dinner lol!

After the dinner was pack up & break camp.

BOND IDENTITY WAS SOOOO FUN!!!!

LOVE IT ;-)
