being able to serve the lord is so awesome!



anyway , today's theme for worship was surrender, by asking god to use us and empower us in submission to his will.



the songs were nice , by that i mean the lyrics too yeah~



-shout to the lord

-one desire

-making a dfference/ spirit touch your church

-potter's hand

-consuming fire



SOOOO..that were the songs for worship.

(you should go hear if you havent heard of them before!)



OH! recently , i've just started on a book "the power to change you life" by rick warren.

the book really spoken to me.

the message that the author wants to deliever is so clear



just in the first chapter , i learnt a lot!



-resurrection power is the power to cancel your past.

though jesus christ knows the things you've done wrong , he did not come to rub it in but he came to rub it out ; he did not come to condemn you but he came to change you.



- everyone has troubles and more often than not , we try to solve them with our own strength. But god wants us to stop trying and start trusting him with our problems.



-when we are changed , it's a new beginnning with a big difference.



-when the holy spirit controls your life , he would produce in you nine positive characteristics : love , joy , peace , patience , kindness , goodness , aithfulness , gentleness , and self control.



-procrastination is fatal.

we procrastinate by putting off changes that we know will be good for us.





to sum up , jesus christ has the power to make changes in your life now.


he will give you the power to get started and the power to keep going.

he will give you the power to break the chains of procrastination.

if you have been unable to let go of your past , jesus christ offers complete forgiveness.

he can put your life back together again.

maybe you're overwhelmed by your problems but no situation is hopless. RELAX , trust god.

no problem is too big for god.

SO , open your heart to his love right now and let his transforming resurrection power becomea reality in our life! :)
